Yamaha YRGB61 Great Bass Recorder
In MapleIn addition to the more common soprano and alto recorders, ensembles often call for other keys such as toner, bass, and even 'Great' bass recorders. Yamaha offers a full line of top quality tenor and bass recorders in both ABS resin and natural wood materials. In addition, Yamaha' s Great Bass recorder plays with a surprisingly effecient balance between air and broad focused sound.

The angle and length of the mouthpipe are adjustable for player comfort.

Roller keys facilitate finger technique.

The wooden peg, supplied with the instrument in two lengths, is removable. The recorder may also played without the peg.
Arched Windway
It has a slight resistance when you play for better breath control which gives greater tonal expressivity and projection.
Maple
A wood of medium hardness for a soft and pure tone which blends well in ensembles. (Gravity after drying approx. 0.6)
