Bluthner Appoints Promenade Music UK Dealer For E-Klavier Digital Pianos

Promenade Music is delighted to have been appointed the Northwest UK dealer for the Bluthner E-Klavier range of digital pianos.

The German Made Bluthner e-Klavier Digital Piano Range with acoustic piano simulation, has been developed and designed in Leipzig, Germany by the pianomakers of Julius Blüthner Pianofortefabrik GmbH. Guided by the philosophy of Authentic Acoustic Behavior, the e-Klavier steps closer to the character of a true acoustic instrument than ever before.

Blüthner Acoustic Piano Simulation Technology - Blüthner has developed a unique approach to sampling and sound modeling that allows the eKlavier to reproduce the legendary effect of the Aliquot string from the Blüthner piano. This system of sound reproduction is referred to by Blüthner as “Authentic Acoustic Behavior” and allows the eKlavier to reproduce the advanced harmonics of the acoustic instrument, such as coincidental partials when two notes are played simultaneously and the sound the dampers produce when lifting off of the string.  Each sound is also produced with a full sustain and no looping.

Blüthner  Sound - When Blüthner envisioned the mapping of The Golden Tone of a Blüthner Model One Concert Grand in digital format, preserving the warmth and harmonics was paramount.  The choice was clear: record a first generation sample in Leipzig, Germany with a new modeling technique, designed and optimized by Blüthner.  The result is purely The Golden Tone…distilled.  It is the crown of a stunning library of first generation sound samples, produced through Blüthner APS technology and each carefully taken from iconic instrumental voices.

Blüthner Grand Touch Action - Developed to render the most versatile nuances, the  e-klavier features original FATAR keyboards from Italy.  The feel of the heavier bass hammers of an acoustic piano that lightens up through the treble is mimicked in the 4-zone Graded Hammer design, which also features after touch.   Accessing the loopless soundsamples of the Blüthner Premium Soundset Library, the e-Klavier 2 gives a lengthy sustain, voluminous tonal development, and a natural decay with every keystroke.

Blüthner Harmonic Damper Modeling - The development of a sound sustain pedal technology is no small task.  The interplay between the tone and the dampers of an acoustic piano is a delicate relationship.  With the advanced Harmonic Damper Modeling of the Blüthner e-Klavier series, one can hear the sound of the dampers lifting off the strings, and can control how much dampening takes places with the pedal in mid-note, just like a grand piano.  This helps elevate an electric piano into a more natural and organic experience.
