Recording King

Originally a house brand for Montgomery Ward, Recording King acoustic guitars and banjos were developed during what many consider to be the golden age of musical instruments (banjos, lap steel guitar, resonator guitars etc). The careful craftsmanship and rich sound of instruments designed during this era make them some of the most well-respected and sought-after fretted acoustic instruments available. The brand name has recently been revived, and the instruments are now made in China, but aspiring to emulate the quality from whence it takes it's name.
