The Yamaha MOX8 88-Note Mobile Workstation Synthesiser combines the XS sound engine with a USB controller keyboard and a USB MIDI interface. The MOX8 is truly mobile with a lightweight construction for home, studio and live performances.
The MOX 8 from Yamaha features a 4-in/2-out USB audio/MIDI interface for complete DAW integration. You can easily record external instruments or internal sounds from the MOX 8. In addition you can play and control external VST soft synth to easily integrate them into your performances with no additional equipment.
The Yamaha MOX8 features a graded Hammer action GHS keyboard for a true/authentic piano feel and keyboard response. Moreover this keyboard has been designed and tweaked for musicians to explore the feel and rich variety of sounds.
Included with MOX8 is the Yamaha MOX Editor allowing you to edit the MOX just like a VST and even to use it as a VSTi within your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). In addition the MOX8 comes bundled with a 48 track version of Steinberg's Cubase AI software ideal for composing entire arrangements and YC-3B Organ Emulator soft synth, Steinberg Prologue analogue synth.
Extremely versatile, the Yamaha MOX 8 features a Performance Recording mode allowing you to select your favourite performance and then press the Record button to record them in a pattern or song. Moreover, the Sequencer Mode lets you build powerful sequences or patterns very easily using either the step recording or real-time recording modes. With 6,720 types of arppegiator patterns It’s never been easier to add additional parts into an arrangement.
