Maestro Original Series Singa WE-CSB-C Medium Jumbo

Solid Western Red Cedar Top
Western Red Cedar is a soft wood which produces a warm, mellow, ‘earthy’ tone. Used for many years
for classical guitar soundboards but has recently become popular with steel strings players.

Solid Wenge Back & Sides
A very delicate hardwood, Wenge is distinct for its evenly spaced dark chocolate streaks and its
glassy tonal character, one with tight bass response with loads of shimmer on top.

Singa | Medium Jumbo [SI]
The biggest amongst our shapes, the Singa has a narrower waist but with a wider lower bout,
resulting to its deep piano-like basses and crystalline highs. These together with its depth and
excellent projection, made Singa the most popular Maestro shape to this date.

A Statement from Maestro
Custom Series is a testament to our commitment in making finely handcrafted instruments
accessible to everyone; luthier-grade instruments that are available off-the-rack. Available in
specific wood & shape combinations, each Custom Series guitar is carefully voiced by Hozen and
is furnished with our signature CSB options – Soundport, Florentine Cutaway, and Beveled
Armrest – features that you will not see from mass-produced & factory-built instruments.

Since 2004, Maestro have been providing quality handcrafted instruments to discerning players that
are very particular with tone, playability and craftsmanship. Each instrument is delicately built
to ensure it is responsive, rich in tonal colour, exceptionally playable and aesthetically
outstanding. Each Maestro instrument is hand-built by a small team of experienced luthiers in a
humidity-controlled facility using only the finest wood, components and other building materials
through age-proven techniques. Every detail is well thought through from the carbon-fibre
Reinforced neck to the soundhole, body wood binding and hide glue. Their years of handcrafting
experience allow them to innovate ways of handcrafting efficiently, enabling them to hand-build
sixty to eighty instruments a month without compromising the quality of each instrument.
