Monday 27th November 2017, An evening with Thomas Blug and his Band, The Vale of Lune Rugby Club Lancaster (LA1 2TT), 7.30pm, Free Admission

Promenade Music is hosting an evening with Thomas Blug - The Strat king of Europe - and his Band

In 2004 [for the 50th birthday of the Fender Stratocaster] Thomas won the Europewide competition to find Europe's best strat player, earning himself the "Strat-King of Europe" title.

After been awarded  "best german Rock-Pop guitarist" twenty years ago, Thomas has been one of the first call studio session guitarists, and has toured with diverse artists from the likes of Percy Sledge, to opening shows for Michael Jackson's 2000 European tour with female rappers 'Tic, Tac, Toe'. Besides live performances and studio projects, Thomas produced several solo albums which made him a respected artist known for his powerful and expressive guitar playing.

Since the late 80's Thomas has worked as sound designer and endorsing performer at music fairs around the globe. In addition to his sublime guitar playing skills, Thomas is also a superb, highly experienced electronics engineer, with a vast collection of 'holy-grail' guitar amplifiers - all of which he has brought together to create his awesome BluGuitar range.

On the night, Thomas and his band will perform a section of rock classics from Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix and a few surprises too!

Entry is free! So get yourself (and your band mates if you have some) to see the "Strat-King of Europe" in Lancaster.
