With our TBX (Treble Bass Expander) tone circuit, this Tele offers a broader and brighter range of tones than a standard circuit. Turning the knob counterclockwise from the center position detent rolls off high frequencies like a traditional tone control; turning it clockwise from the detent adds presence and brightness.
