Made in Memphis, Tennessee USA, August 2011
The Gibson ES-175 debuted in 1949, and other than a change in pickup configuration, remained essentially the same design for 70 years until it ceased production in 2019.
It’s a hollow bodied guitar with a set neck and the body has a florentine cutaway.
The body is made from maple laminate with a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard.
This features 2 humbuckers with volume and tone controls for each, a floating bridge with a wooden base, 2 “f” holes, a 3-way switch, parallelogram mother of pearl inlays, and a chrome trapeze tailpiece.
The headstock features the Gibson logo and “crown” shape.
