Manufacturers make far less specifically left-handed instruments than right-handed ones.
So, in all honesty, there’s just not as much choice for left-handed players as there is for righties.
Many left-handed players choose to play right-handed instruments, and as guitar is an ambidextrous instrument, it’s going to be tough initially to get your weaker hand doing things they aren’t used to whatever your orientation.
The advantage of choosing to play right-handed guitars (as a left-handed player) is that there is much more choice, though it might be initially more difficult to get your rhythm/picking hand going.
We recommend that you try playing both and see what feels most comfortable and natural for you.
Despite the overall dearth of available left-handed guitars, we do try to have an array of lefty instruments in stock. Our range currently includes electric, acoustic, resonator and bass guitars, as well as some banjos.
