Greg and Janet Deering are based in Spring Valley, California and are legends in the Banjo World. They have even been featured on the TV when Made in America Visited Deering Banjos to see them craft their excellent banjos. They started out in 1975, with the aim of making a high quality but affordable banjo. Since then, they have perfected that goal, as well as tackling the more luxurious end of the market. With their Goodtime, Deering, Vega ranges, they've pretty much covered all budgets, and they make 4, 5 and 6-string variations.
