The Adams Professional Generation II Hammered Cambered Copper Timpani has a bowl that is flat bottomed shape profile that is squarer than the parabolic bowl shape that is used for the rest of the Professional Gen 2 range [fibreglass, smooth copper and hammered copper]. The sound of the hammered cambered copper bowl is beautiful and has a quality of tone that is darker – than other Pro Gen 2 models – and has a more focused and prominent fundamental.
