Smaller Size Classicals
The Classical Guitar – or Spanish Guitar as it's often known – has a wide flat fingerboard and the strings are nylon (top three bare nylon and lower three wound with wire over the nylon core). The common tuning is EADGBE and the tension of the strings is lower than on a metal strung acoustic guitar making it easier to fret and therefore more suitable for younger beginners. Classical Guitars tend not to have truss rods in the neck, so buy as good a quality guitar as you can afford … To Contact Us – Call 01524 410202 or email [email protected] for more information … Go Back to the Classical Guitar Department Home Page.
