Condition:
Neck and frets – all very good, no real wear & tear.
Banjo Head – very good
Armrest and metalwork around the rim and resonator. Some signs of age – especially inside the armrest.
Machineheads, bridge, nut etc – no problems.
Cosmetics – One little ding/indentation on the resonator and a slight white mark on the resonator near the ding. See photos. Otherwise, very good condition.
This is the now discontinued Classic 2. It’s basically like the Classic but with a brown stain.
Although it might look like mahogany, it’s maple, but stained. Still, it looks very good.
This was bought new in 2003, with one careful owner. It’s barely been played, so there’s not much in the way of play wear & tear. There are some signs of ageing due to it being a 22 year old instrument.
The Goodtime 2 Classic weighs approximately 6 lbs, about the weight of a guitar. The Goodtime 2 has a stained maple satin finish.
