They’re made using a traditional ‘fixed leg’ design [dowelled, glued and screwed together and not a ‘bolt-on leg’] so they don’t suffer problems that bolt-on leg stools suffer through side-to-side movement caused by the pianists playing up and down the keyboard. Dean uses the highest quality materials and fittings including strong and durable quality full ‘piano lid’ style hinges and aesthetically pleasing brassed lid stay and brassed wood screws.
