Promenade Music offer the beautiful Suzuki W37 wooden melodion [aka melodica or keyboard harmonica] has a mahogany cover and wooden keys that was developed with artistes and it certainly has a unique personality (Suzuki call it “Kenhamo”). Even in music that requires subtle sound expression such as classical music, musette and jazz, the W37 provides a soft tone.

W-37 / Kenhamo is attractive with a tone that has a presence that can not be buried in other instruments. Taking particular note of wooden characteristic which have an effect of absorbing and suppressing harmonic overtone in high notes, and using a wooden cover is a big factor influencing Kenhamo’s sound. All the wooden parts of the W-37 are handmade. The W-37 won the Good Design Award 2017 for the charm of the wooden finish and the high degree of completion as an musical instrument in pursuit of the tone.
