Ted Brewer made his first acyrilic electric violin in 1993 in Lincoln, England, and after four years of research and development, started selling them. Things really picked up in 2001 after he was commisioned to make an electric violin by Vanessa Mae; and twenty five plus years on, Ted is still making beautiful electric violins, in small quantities, by hand, in the UK. Award winning Ted is still as passionate about violins, and the crafting of the instruments, as he was when he first started.
