Players have responded really well to the Player II series. Often, a new version of a series can have very few actual changes, but the Player II series has definitely seen an upswing in quality and features from it’s predecessor.
Now there is a new twist – the Modified version. Probably the biggest difference between the normal and modified iterations is the pickups. Modified Player II’s have “Noiseless” pickups that are usually the preserve of much higher-end instruments.
The series includes Player II Modified Strats (various pickup and tremolo configurations), Teles, active Precision Bass, active Jazz Bass and a Jazz Bass V (5-String).
We’ll be getting more Fender Modified Players in stock over the coming weeks and months. We’ve got 2 today (Tuesday 15th) with a couple more coming later this week.
