Well, we ordered some Rickenbackers back in 2021 and 2023.
And now they’ve arrived!
We’ve got 2 of the 4003S basses in stock, one in Jetglo (Black) and one in Fireglo (like a Cherry Sunburst). The 4003S models feature dot fret markers and no binding (those features are on the 4003 with no ‘S’).
Also, for 2025, the big chrome plate that goes over the bridge pick-up is no longer a standard feature.
This is presumably because most people used to take them off. They look nice, but aren’t the most practical feature.
Rickenbacker have been making guitars and basses in California, USA since 1931. The quality is high and the demand exceed the supply.
If you’re thinking of getting a Rickenbacker, don’t delay, because you might have a big wait on your hands!
