The Suzuki HB250 tonechimes set is a 25-note [full 2-octaves] chromatic hand chime set that is the foundation set* of Suzuki tonechimes and provides a complete two octave range from G4 through to G6 [For reference C5=middle C]. The set is supplied with a heavy duty luxury travel case that has a pull handle, wheels, and foam cut-out for each chime which is name-labeled. This set is perfect for classroom and community groups, whether for instruction or performance.

Explanation of the Suzuki Range
‘Foundation Set’ means that this is the 1st set you will buy if you eventually want to have a full 4.5-octave range. If this is the case, let me explain how you should expand your set-up and remember that middles C on a piano is known as ‘C5’ for this purpose.
– 1st set to buy: HB250 a 25-note / 2-octave set which has a range from G4 to G6 [that’s the G below middle C to the G an octave and a half above middle C].
– 2nd set to buy: HB120A a 12-note extension set to expand the HB250 to a full 3-octave chromatic range. This set extends the note range down to C4 [includes: F#4 down to C4] and goes up to C7 [includes: G#6 up to C7].
– 3rd set to buy: HB120B a 12-note extension set to expand the HB250 and HB120A to a full 4-octave chromatic range. This set extends the note range down to G3 [includes: B3 down to G4] and goes up to G7 [includes: C#7 up to G7].
– 4th set to buy: HB7C a 7-note extension set to expand the HB250, HB120A, and HB120B to a full 4.5-octave chromatic range. This set extends the note range down to C3 [includes: F#3 down to C4].
