In very good condition for a 37 year old, Gibson ‘white’ tends to begin cracking and streaking by this age but the finish is still true now, obviously has been stored well. Great Player. The Gibson SG 62 Custom featuring a wider, shallower fast neck
All original Wiring and pickups consisting of 3 Bill Lawrence ‘The Original’ Pickups. Standard 3 way switch configuration; Bridge, Bridge/middle, Neck.
- Replaced ABR-1 bridge, changed due to a broken wire on the original (Original included in case)
- 4 Non-original witch hat knobs
- 1 incorrect pickup screw (Neck pickup, treble side)
You’re used to seeing 80’s Les Paul Customs here, there and everywhere, but what you rarely see is an 80’s SG Custom. Hard to find in this condition with unchequed finish, No headstock break, no heel break or any of that rock and roll nonsense! A good solid guitar with only a handful of non-original parts which could be replaced with era correct parts if you were to find them (Knobs, Single pickup screw)

There are cosmetic marks on the headstock, near the strap button on the back and a small mark on the lower bout.
