Hire Department

Promenade Music offers the hire of various musical instruments and equipment for lots of events including: concerts, functions, weddings, corporate events, festivals, live shows, parties, theatre shows, hotel events, church ceremonies, retail events, recordings, TV shows, film sets, educational uses, etc.

When hiring, please consider 3 things.
#1. Which product you want to hire?
#2. How long do you want the product for?
#3. Where does the product need delivering to?

Our stated hire prices below includes: ‘1 Day Hire Period’ of the product (see #2 below for longer periods) … VAT … Set-up … Delivery and collection within 10 miles of LA4 5AR (see #3 below for prices for distances further away).

Booking a Hire
A booking is only made, once the hire has been paid for in full.

Cancellation and Refunds
– For cancellations made with more than 7 days to go before the hire date, we will refund 50% of the fee.
– For cancellations made within 7 days of the hire date, no refund will be given.

Delivery Info
If there are any special requirements regarding delivery (like stairs, etc) please speak to us before making the hire booking.

Insurance
We have public liability insurance during the hire period. You should take insurance cover out for the hire product whilst you have it on hire. If any damage occurs to the product, it is the person who hires the product who is respnosibe for it. If using a third party venue, It may be worth checking if the venue has appropriate insurance.

– 1 Day Hire Period = Price Stated Above
– 2 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.1
– 3 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.2
– 4 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.3
– 5 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.4
– 6 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.5
– 7 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.6
– 8 Day Hire Period = Take the 1 day hire price period and multiply [X] it by 1.65

#3. Where does the product need delivering to?

For items that need to be delivered and collected (like pianos and organs), our costs above include the delivery and collection within 10 miles of LA4 5AR [i.e. as far as Burton-in-Kendal to the North; Hornby to the East; Galgate to the South]. For hires further away than 10 miles of LA4 5AR, there is an additional charge for the delivery and the collection [below costs need to be added to the hire price and include VAT).
