Promenade Music offer a valuation service for musical instruments and music related equipment.
Firstly, please read the following important information: Promenade Music Limited give no warranty to the value of goods, and will not be held responsible or liable for any loss claimed having arisen as a result of reliance upon our opinion.
What Valuation Services Can Promenade Music Offer?
(1) We are able to give an opinion to the value of a musical instruments current replacement value , or equivalent replacement should your instrument or equipment no longer be a current model.
(2) Should you wish to sell an instrument and are unsure of the current value, we can assess the instrument and give an opinion as to a guide price in the current market.
(3) If you need to make a probate application, we can offer a written opinion to the valuation of musical instruments and equipment as part to value an estate for probate.
(4) If you need a valuation for insurance reasons, we can offer a written opinion to the valuation of musical instruments and equipment as part of the process of either getting insurance, maintaining insurance, or claiming on an insurance policy. As a sign of goodwill, for valuations for insurance purposes, the valuation cost of an item will be deducted from the price of a replacement item if bought from Promenade at the point of purchase.

Verbal Valuation Option 1

– Subsequent items = £8.33 ex VAT [£10.00 inc VAT]
Therefore, if you have 3 instruments, the total cost including VAT is £20.00 + £10.00 + £10.00 = £40.00
Verbal Valuation Option 2
[based on the item/s being valued at a location away from Promenade Music by prior arrangement]
Up to 10 miles round trip from LA4 5AR
– 1st item = £83.33 plus VAT [£100.00 including VAT]
– Subsequent items = £8.33 plus VAT [£10.00 including VAT]
Up to 20 miles round trip from LA4 5AR
– 1st item = £116.67 plus VAT [£140.00 including VAT]
– Subsequent items = £8.33 ex VAT [£10.00 inc VAT]
Up to 40 miles round trip from LA4 5AR
– 1st item = £150.00 plus VAT [£180.00 including VAT]
– Subsequent items = £8.33 ex VAT [£10.00 inc VAT]
Up to 60 miles round trip from LA4 5AR
– 1st item = £183.33 plus VAT [£220.00 including VAT]
– Subsequent items = £8.33 ex VAT [£10.00 inc VAT]
Up to 80 miles round trip from LA4 5AR
– 1st item = £216.67 plus VAT [£260.00 including VAT]
– Subsequent items = £8.33 ex VAT [£10.00 inc VAT]
Written Valuations
Written Valuation Option 1

– 1st item = £133.33 plus VAT [£160.00 including VAT]
– Subsequent items = £12.50 plus VAT [£15.00 including VAT]
