Tuned to GDAE an octave below the Aquila the Aquila Octave is an easy transition from an acoustic violin, with the benefits of low volume for practice, and high volume for performance with no feedback!
The Aquila Octave allows the violinist to almost cover the cello register making it useful for building string sections, and accompanying treble voices and instruments, as well as purely solo.

Headstock inspired by the Stradivarius
1710 Viola de Gamba; the neck with distinctive Bridge shield and through
peg box is carved from a single maple block. The ebony fingerboard, nut
and maple neck are professionally shaped and traditionally finished.
The body is hollow; formed from a kevlar and carbon-fibre composite
The high quality ebony pegs are professionally fitted to give positive grip
with ease of movement. The Octave is supplied with Thomastik Infeld
superflexible Octave Strings. Bridge electric violins use an
encapsulated pickup system integrated into the bridge, utilising all the
advantages of a traditional bridge and capturing the warmth of tone
synonymous with their acoustic counterparts. Bridge does not supply
their bridge pickup system to any other manufacturers or makers. The
Octave features convenient volume and tone tilt controls situated for
easy adjustment and is fitted with a lightweight tailpiece with fine
tuners and an abony, Dresden-style, chinrest. The 1/4-inch jack socket
is carefully positioned and angled to avoid drag and interference from
the cable. The angle and proportions are compatible with all common
wireless solutions. The 3v coin cell battery is also located on the
underside of the instrument. This simple and readily-available battery
can provide 1000 hours of playing time and only drains while the jack is
